Terms & Conditions for G&F Moving Services LLC – Moving Services

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of services provided by G&F Moving Services LLC, a moving company operating in Maryland. By hiring our services, you (“Customer”) agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree with these Terms, do not engage our services.

2. Services Provided

G&F Moving Services LLC offers a range of moving services, including but not limited to:

Residential and commercial moving
Packing and unpacking services
Loading and unloading of goods
Local and long-distance moving

All services are subject to availability and pricing, which may change from time to time. Specific details, including pricing and timelines, will be confirmed before the service is provided.

3. Booking & Payment

To reserve a moving service, the Customer must provide details of the move, including the date, time, location, and the size of the move. A non-refundable deposit may be required at the time of booking. The balance of payment is due upon completion of the move, unless otherwise agreed.

Payment Methods: We accept payment via credit card, debit card, certified checks, and cash.
Cancellations: A cancellation notice must be given at least 5 business days prior to the scheduled move for a full refund of any deposit, minus any applicable processing fees. If less than 5 business days’ notice is provided, the deposit will be forfeited.

4. Customer Responsibilities

The Customer agrees to:

Ensure the moving space is accessible on the day of the move.
Provide a clear list of items to be moved and disclose any fragile or high-value items.
Ensure the moving truck can park legally and safely at the pickup and delivery locations.
Prepare items to be moved in an orderly manner (e.g., packing boxes, disassembling furniture, etc.).

5. Liability & Damages

Liability for Damage: G&F Moving Services LLC will take all reasonable precautions to avoid damage during the move. However, G&F Moving Services LLC is not liable for any damage to items packed by the Customer, or to items that are inherently fragile or hazardous.
Valuation: The Customer is encouraged to purchase additional valuation for high-value or fragile items.

G&F Moving Services LLC can and will assist with details regarding additional insurance options.

6. Delivery Times

We strive to deliver all items on time and within the agreed-upon timeframe. However, delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances such as traffic, weather conditions, or other factors outside our control. G&F Moving Services LLC is not responsible for delays caused by such events.

7. Prohibited Items

The following items are prohibited from being moved by G&F Moving Services LLC:

Hazardous materials (e.g., chemicals, explosives, flammable substances)
Perishable goods
Pets or animals
Personal or confidential documents (unless otherwise agreed)

8. Force Majeure

G&F Moving Services LLC is not liable for failure to perform its obligations under these Terms if such failure is caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, and government actions.

9. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the services provided shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the laws of the state of Maryland. Both parties agree to resolve all claims in arbitration rather than through court.

10. Amendments

G&F Moving Services LLC reserves the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. All changes will be communicated to the Customer via email or the company's website.
